Along with the Heat waves comes the chance to listen to live jazz. If you have made the link between these two advents, you are surely close to the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country, Euskadi. The "Basque jazz circuit" begins at Getxo in Biscay on the 1st of July and will take you through the capitals of Alava (Vitoria-Gazteiz) and Guipuzcoa (Donostia-Saint Sébastien), on the 10th and 21st of July respectively.
The programme is, as always, outstanding and this year, for the Year of the Pyrenees, part of the show will be performed by Pyrenean jazz musicians. This is an alternative way of revealing and listening to the Pyrenees.
